The GSSI – Gran Sasso Science Institute is once again taking part in the European Researchers’ Night, with a rich programme of activities designed to share research with the public and bring science and researchers closer to the community.
GSSI researchers, students and staff will participate in the SHARPER and Street Science programmes through stands, events and interactive laboratories aimed at engaging visitors of all ages.
The main event will take place on the evening of Friday, September 25, 2026, with stands throughout L’Aquila’s historic centre. The GSSI programme will also include additional events, such as a special opening of the GSSI Visitor Centre, and, as part of Street Science, a non-competitive run on September 20, and volleyball and soccer matches.
The entire GSSI community is invited to join!
Forme Sensibili – Narrazione di un paesaggio is a sculptural-musical work taking the form of an abstract landscape in constant transformation: every gesture, contact and presence affects the sound component of the work, creating ever-changing configurations. The work is also in dialogue with the cosmos: it is equipped with a muon detector, detecting high-energy particles that constantly pass through space.
