On October 15-16, 2026, the GSSI will host RV60 – Fluid Dynamics from Earth to Heart, an international conference bringing together leading researchers in fluid dynamics. The event, co-organized by the GSSI (Francesco Viola) and the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Mauro Chinappi), will be an occasion to celebrate the 60th birthday of Professor Roberto Verzicco.
Taking place in the Auditorium of the GSSI, the conference will focus on the main research areas that have shaped Professor Verzicco's scientific activity. These include turbulence and thermal convection, geophysical and environmental flows, multiphase flows, numerical methods and high-performance computing for fluid dynamics, and the modelling of cardiovascular flows and the human heart.
Il 15 e 16 ottobre 2026, al GSSI si terrà RV60 – Fluid Dynamics from Earth to Heart, un convegno internazionale che riunirà alcuni tra i maggiori ricercatori nel campo della fluidodinamica.
